It's an interesting concept, but there's a certain realism to 'Dexter' that doesn't quite gel with the supernatural worlds of Jason and 'Hack/Slash'. He's smart, but he's not really equipped to deal with either of those worlds. Jason could just as easily have sliced him with the machete rather then bitch slapped him for example. Then it would be all over for Dexter in one panel. I guess rules could be suspended to make the transition between worlds as painless as possible for Dex, but it would be difficult for me to suspend my disbelief.
