Savini's a more than capable actor. I wish H-Wood would realize that so he wouldn't have to slum in these retched B-movies to make a living.

Yes his main role was the make up and special effects supervisor, cameo was a bit thing

special make-up effects supervisor is also his title other than actor, so maybe he is.

Tom's cool, but i for one wish he would stop popping up as cameos & get back into doing effects.

If you check out the IMDB listing for new indie horror movie Redd Inc it lists Tom Savini as playing role of Peter Bava. Seems he's also come out of retirement to supervise the make up and special FX
