I'd like to have one also just for the novelty but can't justify the price, maybe if i win the lottery.

If it was $12-$20 i'd be all over it. I can get all of them it's just getting them for what I want to pay.

I never got into laserdiscs during their hey-day but about, oh, five years ago I bought a laserdisc player just for the novelty of having one, and when I got it home I discovered the previous owner left the movie Top Gun in it.
