Another series I thought of is Fright Night, it counts I think, with the first two plus the remake. I definitely like the original the best.

WOW!!! That's a great list of horror movies but I really like Saw & Scream movie too..These are mine best movie ever!!!

For 3 seasons on DVD I wish it were a little cheaper. Saying that because Blu Ray is getting close to 10 years old and even those are getting dirt cheap (huge 5 dollar sale with GOOD movies last week on amazon). But, something from the early 70s can't look too good on Blu Ray so it'll still look the same as DVD.

I just checked and the complete set on Amazon is just under 50 bucks for all the seasons. Pretty awesome, I think I'll pick it up soon. Always fun to relive those classics!

Answer Me is my favorite from Tales of the Darkside. Such a compelling use of phones which has inspired some of my writing.

Same. I remember my favorite episode was Halloween Candy, still need to see the entire series to see which episode is my favorite per season.

I think I'll change this to The Final Chapter, though I'm constantly back and forth between 4 and 6 as my number one favorite F13 movie. Lately though I'd probably give a marginal edge to The Final Chapter.

I thought of a funny addition, the Camp Blood movies They're so bad they're funny and amusing. I'm actually a little undecided which of the three I enjoyed the most. They're not good by any stretch but they can be hilarious if you watch them when in the right mood.

There's plenty of series where I like the original the best but also plenty where I prefer the sequels.
