hmmm...the only movie I remember well with a scene at a restaurant, would be Sixth Sense. I can't remember if she eats during the scene or not? I think she does.

I was almost snarky about this- characters eating at restaurants in movies- but then I realized I've seen lots of characters eating, but generally when you see them order, something does come up. I'm trying to think of a movie that has both the ordering and eating of food. There has to be one where the plot centers around food contamination or parasites or something, but off the top of my head I can't think of one. (I'm guess 'Alien' doesn't really count)

Characters in movies always order food then end up leaving the table long before the food could be served.
