I like the idea of Rob Zombie making a Fulci movie, House by the Cemetery would probably be the best one, but I would be down for a remake of the Beyond or City of the Living Dead, though there wouldn't be much room for improvement.

^^^ Now there's an intriguing thought. The idea of Zombie remaking Fulci oozes potential. It would be interesting to see him tackle House, or maybe Manhattan Baby, Aenigma. Fulci flicks which left room for improvement.

It may be cliche at this point, but I think we're due for a new high budget version of Dracula, maybe directed by Guillermo Del Toro.

I'd like to see a remake of "The Never Ending Story" and I'd love to see Joel Courtney from Super 8 take on the role of Bastian Bux or Atreyu, Chloe Mortesz as The Childlike Empress, Gary Oldman as Mr. Koreander and Liam Neeson as the voice of Falkor.

Make it happen, Hollywood. I'd pay to see it with a great cast like this.

I think they should remake the Island of Doctor Moreau. I think the Effects and Science in general today could make it a much more believable concept, even over the Brando remake. But Make it Dark...Rated R.

HORROR HOTEL for damn sure, that'd truely ROCK!!!
Yeah that's my favorite all times Horror flick and YES I like remakes. Sometimes even more than the old ones, I Spit On Your Grave and When A Stranger Calls to name a few... They rocked more than the original IMO.

As for mainstream ones, Mean Girls, The Italian Job and The Island.

A remake of This is Spinal Tap- all the characters are now vampires or zombies, or both (your pick). All the humor with a tinge of horror (spinal tap, eh eh?)
