I'm looking forward to this. Del Torro has referred to it as a love letter to the kaiju flicks of the 60s and 70s. And I think it's cool he's cast Charlie Hunnam, who plays Jax on one of my absolute favorite shows, Sons of Anarchy.

This is shaping up to be a really cool flick.

It's been awhile since we've had a giant monster flick, but Del Toro's Pacific Rim looks promising and the concept seems refreshing too. At first glance I thought this was one of the guys in a suit. Del Toro said we should expect a trailer by Winter and from what he's said, we're getting nine Kaiju, and if I remember correctly, five Jaegers (The Robots), all with different looks and functions.
