I don't like any of the originals at all. They're OK at best but to me, bad parent movies will never top What Ever Happened To Baby Jane. However, The Stepfather remake was amazing. I dare say that I love it!

I've seen the original (loved it -- Jill Schoelen = mrowr! and Terry O'Quinn = genuinely creepy) but only the first ten or fifteen minutes of the second one. Got bored with that one really quick.

I haven't seen the original in a while but I do remember liking it. It's got Terry 'O Quinn from Lost in it and I can't help but think "it's John Locke!" because he's a badass on that show.

There are 3 movies in main series and the Remake

I have seen parts of first movie, some of remake at well. It's a shame I caught ending of remake on one channel

As anyone seen rest of the series? , are they connected or stand alone movies?

Will be watching this series with Phantasm series
