i really do like the show, watch it each chance i can, even though lately it seems to have flickered away, i would love to see more

You can visit the penitentiary, if you have the cojones. The have daylight tours, and night tours by reservation.

Just caught FEAR, the West Virginia State Penitentiary episode, on the youtube. The show is still badass! What the hell happened Mtv?

This show didn't attract me one bit. I watched one episode and only watched it for 5 min. and then turned it off.

That last laugh might detract from the dark mood of the show. At least, I think that's why they left out the "reveal."

Watched Room 401 - was able to pause the beginning sequence and read the flashes of text, describing room 401 as the hospital room where a famous magician (Houdini, presumably) died, leaving his secrets untold.

I liked this show a lot! It makes me feel so twisted to laugh at these horrified folks.

^ YES! Totally agree with both those statements. But, don't they do new Scariest Places at Halloween time? It's coming soon - yay! More vampire documentaries, Mad Mad House reruns, etc. etc.

I used to watch Most Haunted, but then I read in Rue Morgue that the haunting "events" are scripted.

I liked Fear on Mtv where people would go into haunted places in rooms by themselves.

The best tv show was World's Scariest Places on Earth hosted by Linda Blair but it went off the air.:(
