Yeah, I was told even my review for Bad Blood was boring and hard to get through....  lol, guess even reviewing this film was dull!

]]> Wed, 19 Sep 2007 04:49:12 +0000 http://www.horror-movies.ca/Forum/viewtopic.php?pid=66548#p66548 <![CDATA[Bad Blood (Coisa Ruim)- Portuguese Boredom!!!]]> http://www.horror-movies.ca/Forum/viewtopic.php?pid=66355#p66355 Well I finally find a bump in the road of my Tartan movie experiences.  A recently new release by Tartan video is a film from Portugal called Bad Blood, or Coisa Ruim in it's native language.  This film was an utter bore-fest and I feel used from the fact that it's considered horror.  Yes the film is about superstitions and spiritual hauntings and even has some exorcisms, but it does very little to make this feel like anything more than a film about folklore.  It was one of the slowest building films I have seen outside of M. Night Shyamalan films and didnt reward me at all for my patience.  Definitely doesn't live up to the billing as one of Portugal's best films.  It's only saving grace was that it was well directed and created wonderful atmospheres with it's outstanding cinematography.
