i thought the 1st film REC was alright.  to be honest, it's THE most shakey shakey-cam film (i.e Blair Witch, Cloverfield) i've ever seen.  it was almost unbearable to watch just for the shakey thing alone. but i'd be interested in what REC 2 will show us.

YES! This is great news. [Rec] was one of the best horror movies in recent years, and I'm so glad it's getting a sequel. Even if it's not as good as the original, just the though of the directors working together again is enough to get me giddy.
