Topic: Piranha: Getting Filleted by the Remake Knife

Im sure alot of you old school horror fans remember that little 70s creature feature flick Piranha, Well awhile back we got the news that they are gonna remake it ( http://www.horror-movies.ca/horror_3769.html ) For me i think this would make a better remake then Hitchcock's The Birds, (If they do it right) It might even turn out to be down right sexy with a mixture of CGI fish, Gore, T&A, Share your thoughts on this.

I agree.  If done right it would definitely be better than remaking another Hitchcock film.

Yea this is one where the original isn't really that great and it is fine if they want to take another stab at it.. But for some reason this film has that Sci Fi Original Movie stink all over it..

As a camp movie, I like the original Piranha.  It isn't anything speical outside it started Joe Dante's career. 

Piranha is the kind of film that is an example of my version of a remake.  Get a film that could have had some fun in it but couldn't do much because of budgetary or other reasons.

You know Goon i was thinking the same damn thing ...>(But for some reason this film has that Sci Fi Original Movie stink all over it) That realy came into my mind when i saw thos pics from the film you guys put up a while back ( http://www.horror-movies.ca/horror_5639.html )
