Rob Zombies H2 gets new Director of Photography

Hi all! Im new to the forum. This is my first post actually. I just found some interesting news via-myspace regarding Rob Zombies H2. Here is the blog entry I got the information from as well as a link to the page.

H2 gets new Director of Photography

It has today been announced that Halloween's Director of Photography, Phil Parmet (who also worked with Zombie on The Devil's Rejects) will not be returning for the sequel, H2 and instead the cinematography duties will fall to Brandon Trost.

What does this mean? Well, Zombie has stated he wanted H2 to be different to Halloween in the same type of way that Rejects was a lot different to House of 1000 Corpses. Changing the DOP will certainly go someway in acheiving such a thing, at least athestically.

Troth's credits include work as an FX assistant on Mortal Kombat: Annihilation and Scream 2 and as a Director of Photography he shot Rob Hall's Lightning Bug, Jake Kennedy's Days of Darkness and Crank 2: High Voltage.
