Movies: The Shawshank Redemption, Misery, Creepshow TV: IT, The Stand Books: From a Buick 8, The Dark Tower... pretty much anything he ever wrote.
Re: Favorite Stephen King material in the theatre, on DVD and TV
my favorite book by stephen king is definately the stand.;
Re: Favorite Stephen King material in the theatre, on DVD and TV
Book: The Dark Tower series, most notably Wastelands. Movie: Cujo - few of his films have truly been terrifying, but this one definitey was. TV - Remake of Salem's Lot - I love The Stand and IT, but way too long. Upcoming: I'm looking forward to Cell, but would really love to see The Long Walk or Rage made into a film.
Re: Favorite Stephen King material in the theatre, on DVD and TV
My favorites? My favorite book would have to be "Cell" and my favorite movie would have to be "Pet Sematary".
Re: Favorite Stephen King material in the theatre, on DVD and TV
If I had to choose ONE in each category Book: The Shining Movie: Carrie TV: N & D
Re: Favorite Stephen King material in the theatre, on DVD and TV
I don't think I have ever seen any of his TV shows. It's hard to say with that category.
