Topic: Book and author name help please!

Well I thought I had it saved, but if I did, I lost it.

I posted this question before, and someone answered it right away.  So I'm hopeful

Plot:  A man dreams about a dark mountain moving toward him, coyotes (I think), normally avoid man, but for some reason, they are congregating on his porch. 

Any of this sound familiar?

That sounds vaguely familiar to a Bentley Little novel I think.  But I read it so long ago I cannot remember which one. 

If not, maybe someone knows what I'm thinking of.  LOL
