Topic: Sadness for the Wii

Being released in the fall of this year by NIBRIS . While NIBRIS doesn't seem to be very forth coming with details here's what I've gathered so far.

- Psychological Horror, so no shoot em up or hack slashing here...
- Takes place on the verge of the 19th and 20th centuries, at a ruin in the woods of the Russian Empire and is entirely in black and white
- You are Maria a  victorian age aristocrat trying to protect her 8 year old, blind son from monsters trying to get him.
- Werewolves will be in the game although they will not have a whole lot in common with the more traditional aspect of werewolves. In the game, the werewolf is born human and when mature they will change during the full moon and will not regenerate after death.
- Has an "invisible save feature" meaning the game auto saves by itself at key moments without your knowledge.
- Some of the horror elements are to be derived from Slavic lore.

Btw the last pic is a Likho, one of the creatures taken from slovic lore .. although it's not exactly the real slovic version of the Likho. That would be a one eyed skinny old man in black ..

I'm not sure about this.. The footage in the trailer doesn't even look like game footage.. Especially for something that is going to the Wii.. And whats up with the controller that chick has? I've never seen a black Wii controller.. This looks a little fishy.. But its good that Wii is finally getting some horror goodness.. Even though I'm going to guess that it probably won't sell just because a majority of people who own the Wii won't be interested in this game..

they make wii controllers in all sorts of colors in japan, and you can have it "moded" out here in america, people just painting them. 

The game sounds great and looks OK, I'll probably rent this one

This game has been in production and pushed back for probably 2 years now. Been following it for a while so we will see if it does actually come out this fall

Heh yea I mean I'm interested don't get me wrong.. But  a very large majority of people who own a Wii are families who play Wii Fit and Wii Sports.. Its kind of turned into the family system for casual gamers...

I'm gonna wait until I see some more trailers to see how this looks down the line.. I think this trailer may be a very early kind of concept trailer just based on how everything is fit together.. I will keep an eye on it thats for sure..

Goon is right, most people who own we are families.. Thank god im not(: I have a 360 and my wii, and im going to buy this game...
