Bluray's where I am cost £15 at the cheapest for some very crappy movies and rise into the £40 category. The price is insane for one thing but I loved my video's, got rid of most because they were on their way out and switched to DVD.
But I don't want to switch to Bluray, I like my DVDs. The picture is crisp enough, special features are/ were in abundance and it was smoother sailing.
I have since built up quite a collection. I do not need a crisper picture so why should I pay so much for Bluray when DVD gives me as much. I pay fair and true, I give money in good faith it doesn't matter wherever you like Bluray or DVD it is the principle.
I pay, so why should I get stiffed for them trying to play the competitive market? It's not fair on the consumers who if it was not for them, DVDs would not exist. Respect the people who pay for these films and stop pushing DVD aside when it deserves as much respect as Bluray.
