Topic: Scare Tactics

I remember watching this show called "Scare Tactics" a while back on the Sci-Fi channel and i really enjoyed it.  It was a hidden camera reality show where family or friends would set up someone they new into this whole scenerio to try and scare the crap out of them.  It involved movie like special effects and make-up.  Some of the episodes were pretty damn gory for a TV show, but it was all the better.  I believe, they tried to scare this one chick and she got so scared she sued and won, but thats just a rumor of how it got cancelled.  Whatever the reason is its not playing anymore.  Steven Baldwin from i think the Flinstones was the host.  You can still check out some of the episodes on www.youtube.com.

Yea this show kicked ass.. Unfortunately I think it got cancelled because they were getting sued.. A couple people didn't think it was too funny and they decided to sue.. I'm not completely sure if thats why it was cancelled but I know they are getting sued..

Yea they still run re-runs of the show on Sci Fi though.. All we can do is hope that one day it gets picked back up because I think it was a pretty popular show for Sci Fi..

That would be kickass.  I wish they'd come out with a season of it on DVD, I'd pick that up for sure.

I heard that rumour too and I was sorely disappointed.  That show was so much fun.  Funnier still is that Stephen Baldwin is a reborn Christian now.  I don't know if he was at the time of the show, but if not, I wonder how he feels about pulling evil pranks now.

I thought Scare Tactics was a great show.  My favorite episode was one of the first ones where this guy was a security guard for a construction site and was attacked by zombies.  That would be a great way to get me.  LOL

The only issue I ever had was that they never let it go far enough later in the series.  They always seemed to end just as the victim was gonna get really freaked.  That made a disappointment.  I was always afraid they would get sued too.  It figures.  Can't have anything fun and potentially deadly anymore...first Jarts, now this.  *sigh*
