Topic: Isn't District 9 a sci fi movie?
If so, I wonder why there are so many reviews being written on our horror site...I haven't seen it and hadn't planned to because it doesn't look like my kind of sci fi.

I wouldn't even say it was sci-fi. it's almost historic if you replace the aliens with south african black people. Pretty much the way apartheid went down isn't it? fracking terrible.

I just saw it and it is really amazing.. Yea its sci fi but their is a lot that horror fans will get from the film as well.. Really, really good flick..

come to think of it why are Inglorious Basterds and Black Tornado in the reviews? not complaining just querying or have i missed something? Neither of these are horror.
