Topic: Worst Games you have had the Misfortune of Playing

There's already a thread asking your favourite underrated games but this is a lil different. What games have you brought/ rented/ borrowed under the assumption they would be good and then wished you'd never laid on eyes on them?

What were the titles of these games and how badly would you rate them?

This counts to any type of game btw. So have fun y'all wink

Re: Worst Games you have had the Misfortune of Playing

Wow, this is a tough question.  I mean, how far back do I go?  The first really horrible game I remember playing was Dr. Jeckel and Mr. Hyde on NES.  You have a stick to hit enemies with except, it doesn't do any damage to them.  Then you turn into Mr. Hyde and just randomly die.  I went back and played it recently, thinking I would understand the gameplay better, but I was wrong.  Apparently it is just a pile.  I could list at least 100 of the worst games I have ever played, shortly stating why I think they are bad.  Hmm...maybe I will.

Re: Worst Games you have had the Misfortune of Playing

I recently borrowed Condemmed Criminal origins for Xbox 360 and it was by far one of the owrst games I have played in a long time...your an FBI agent tracking a serial killer and you have no weapon...you must rely on sticks and pipes that you find to break enemies over the head with...lame...you would think and FBI agent would be better equiped to deal with a serial killer...nice thread

One that pops into mind is SHELLSHOCK 2 BLOOD TRAILS

Cool idea, horrible execution.  But at least when you shoot a zombie in the head, it goes down first shot, unlike other games where it takes 2 or more headshots.

Yeah I always thought that was a weird idea.  A first person shooter that relies on melee weapons?  Don't get it.

Re: Worst Games you have had the Misfortune of Playing

just skip on down to the next post, cuz ya'll know this is going to be bad...

What's In My Pants? with Grandpa  mad mad

Re: Worst Games you have had the Misfortune of Playing

I loved Condemned, but thats just me.
Superman Returns... a true POS Eregon, basically any movie game.

Re: Worst Games you have had the Misfortune of Playing

hm...Runescape, hated that! tongue

Re: Worst Games you have had the Misfortune of Playing

I sense imminent flames, but Halo for the Xbox. Maybe I'm just not the type for FPS, but god damned if that game didn't just irritate me. Not exactly helped by it's surges of popularity overshadowing anything GOOD that might have come out for the Xbox (Fable, aside...)

Re: Worst Games you have had the Misfortune of Playing

Paper Mario for the n64

Re: Worst Games you have had the Misfortune of Playing

Plumber Don't Wear Ties on 3DO.  It barely qualifies as a game and...you should really look it up to see for yourself.

HAHAHA the porn version of "Psychic Detective" but at least they were trying to be inventive. 3d0 was cool for about 30 secs before new gen came out but they did have some classic titles like Wicked 18 (a golf game not porn lol), Gex, Cannon Fodder.
