Topic: Rogue Straight to DVD May 20th

Rogue has been bumped around all over the map and now it seems it is going to be going direct to dvd. No theatrical release at all according to Fangoria. I guess two killer Aligator films in one year just wouldnt work in theatres.

It's probably for the best.  I still want to check it out, though.  I was a big fan of "Wolf Creek", so I'll probably enjoy "Rogue".

I read on Bloody-Disgusting last night that someone at Moviehole got in contact with someone in the distribution end of the biz who said that Dimension was still hunting for a release date.  IMO, chances are the thing is already going DVD and possible someone is trying to sooth some ruffled feathers.  Never know with those crazy Weinsteins.

it wont be the first time something gets reported twice. Sometimes we re-report based on a source. Namely if we dont trust the original source.

It wouldn't be the first time that a superior film was ditched as a result of an inferior product beating it to the punch so I'm looking forward to it. "Wolf Creek" was a fun watch so I'll definitely pick it up and trust that it's been crafted with as much care.
