Topic: Best John Carpenter film.

The Thing just edges out Halloween for me, although I love them all. I have a couple other poll ideas so watch for them soon.

Re: Best John Carpenter film.

Halloween with The Thing and Escape from NY in close second.

Re: Best John Carpenter film.

The Thing, this was the easiest poll ever.

Re: Best John Carpenter film.

I will mull over this.

Re: Best John Carpenter film.

I had to go with "Halloween".  "The Thing" comes in a very, very close second.

Re: Best John Carpenter film.

The Thing plus a real close second - In the Mouth of Madness

Re: Best John Carpenter film.

I'm still pushing for all you young filmakers to watch DARKSTAR ;so, you can see the evolution of Carpenter. I never was able to make my dreams come true in filmmaking(YET), but I hope the study of early Carpenter will help someone else see a new perspective or something and WHAM! he/she's off to becoming the next  TOBE HOOPER! And never forget grandpa TOD!!!  He might need a job! LOL!
