Topic: Games Region/NTSC/PAL Coded?

Curious if Video games have the same DVD handycap of Regions, PAL, or NTSC. There are a few European video games I would like but have stopped as I cannot find anything on the sites about regions or coding and just don't wanna waste my money.

Anyone know if you can play a game made in Europe over in the USA?

I think they do, but I not really sure did you check gamefaqs.com thats where I usually go for my gaming needs.

I'm sure you need a mod chip installed or a cart. I put a mod chip in my old Dreamcast and that will play any region, and my old Saturn I have a cart you put in the slot to play any region. So I'm sure there's mods for the new consoles out.
