Topic: Speghetti Westerns
I haven't really seen too many spegetti western movies, just a couple. And the couple that I saw were really really cool. My favorite Spegetti Western so far is Sergio Leone's The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. I was watching one called, "God's Gun". It was really cool, I haven't finished it yet though. So, does anybody have any suggestions for speghetti westerns films I should watch? And which film is your favorite?

For a Few Dollars More Once Upon a Time in the West A Fistful of Dollars A Fistful of Dynamite aka Duck You Sucker Django The Good, the Bad and the Ugly would probably be my favorite, either that or Once Upon a Time in the West.

Re: Speghetti Westerns
Thanks mdc!!! I have A few Dollars More on DVD. I'll watch it tonight. The other ones you listed I will have to look for. Thanks again man.
Re: Speghetti Westerns
Once Upon The Time In The West is one of my all time favorite films. Love the cinematography, music, performances (Henry Fonda is amazing), everything in this film works.

Re: Speghetti Westerns
i am a big fan of spaghetti westerns and am on the spaghetti western database as the man with a name. some suggestions Once upon a time in the west ( simply the greatest spaghetti western ever) The Return Of Ringo The Hellbenders A pistol For Ringo The Big Gundown Day Of Anger Django Blindman The Great Silence Black Jack Creature, if you are new to the genre you are in for a good time, there are over 650 spaghetti westerns from 1961- 1977. many very rare and there are some gems amongst some crap! the ones i've mentioned are among my favourites not mentioning the dollar trilogy which along with once upon a time in the west come from the SW maestro Sergio Leone. good watching (don't forget the horror though);)

in their original Italian titles or the english translation?;) macho nothing beats horror in my book but yeah i like SW's as well, it's an underrated genre.i could go on more about it but i don't want to bore you old bean, then you would be disapointed!;)
Re: Speghetti Westerns
Thanks a lot Wolfman! That list will help me. I just finished watching a Jack Palace and Lee Van Cleef film called "God's Gun". Really awesome film. And Wolfman, of course I will never forget about horror. That's an impossibility.
Re: Speghetti Westerns
I have a wild one called "Django Kill", that has some unusual elements such as a resurrected gunman out for revenge. The ending reminds me a little of 'Goldfinger'. Like Wolfman said 'The Great Silence' is a great one.

Re: Speghetti Westerns
I just watched Gentleman Killer. Check out the Wild East DVD company website; they've got a great bunch of releases including Kill And Pray, Matalo!, Pistoleros and The Dirty Outlaws. Blue Underground release a boatload of cool titles; Django, Django Kill, Companeros, Mannanja... Also, I would highly suggest the 3 volumes of the Spaghetti Western Bible that Videoasia has put out (in the US). Each has 10 fun-filled films of varying print quality, but they are still cool to watch and cheap (about 13.50 from Deep Discount). And don't forget Lucio Fulci's Massacre Time! Wolfman is dead on with The Great Silence...Amazing flick. Hope this helps!

django kill is a weird one and borders on horror once or twice, a few have a gothic look and one or two such as " Django the bastard" dabble with supernatural elements.
Re: Speghetti Westerns
I watched A Few Dollars More last night. Really fantastic. It was such a good time. Thanks for the recomendations guys. I'll keep looking for the ones you listed.
Re: Speghetti Westerns
D'Jango is the best one in my book. Also check, "Man Without a Gun" from 1957 http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0179590/ also: HULU has a plethora of westerns you can watch for free. "do you know what a 'plethora' is Hefe?"

El Guapo, I know that I, Hefe, do not have your superior intellect and education, but could it be that once again, you are angry at something else, and are looking to take it out on me?
