Just a thought for you Sonny, if you're planning on any other "zombies from beneath" sequences. It might work better if you sieve the soil so it looks less clumpy (as if it's just been dug over).

While we were filming one of my zombies was snapping pictures, I had no idea and when she showed me them I flipped. I think they're cool as hell. Keep in mind a lot of the make-up in these isn't done and it's just them goofing off, but I love them and I decided to share a few with you folks!

FINALLY after years of being bounced around from distributor to distributor (one of which is in a jail for embezzeling two hundred thousand dollars) and years of making it on bootleg VHS's being spread around, my indie epic BLEED is at last coming to DVD. This is a big deal to me, this movie is very near and dear to my heart. Some people STILL say this damn thing is my best movie, mainly because the story is killer.

Bleed centers around six teenagers who awake from horrible nightmares, they get dressed and walk out into the dead of night. They meet up confused and alone on a desolate street corner. With no idea how they got there, or any memory of having gotten out of bed they decide to head back home. On their way however, they quickly realize that there are things loose in the town; things with horns and tails, ghost like apparitions that appear before their eyes and horrible beasts that seem to be sprung out of their very nightmares.

They are chased into a garage and when they awake the next morning they find that the town is completely empty. Their parents are gone, the police station is abandoned and the creatures that had tormented them the night before have vanished. Even worse, when they try to drive out to get help they end up right back where they started from. When night comes, the monsters show up again and this time, there are casualties.

Trapped in an empty town, the teenagers find others who have wondered into their world and realize as dusk approaches they must prepare for the night to come and for the demons to return.

But where are they? Where have the monsters come from and why do they seem so familiar?

As time passes they get to know one another, relationships form, bonds come to pass and anger erupts. But it isn't long before they discover that they are not alone, there are strange shoe prints around their home and soon, they will discover that there are far worse things than monsters on the loose.

It's been a looonnnggg time coming.

another thing how come their hair looks like they just came out of a beauty salon?

If you look at the actual pics of them coming out the ground you'll see the hair is nice and messed up, those behind the scene shots were taken pretty early in the day, most of the make-up isn't even finished yet. A lot of that isn't their real hair anyway.

A lot of ppl always try to catch stuff, but what I love is, there's ridiculous stuff in those pics...but nobody ever catches the REALLy sneaky stuff. People say, "haha their hair isn't messed up!" or whatever, and I just smirk and say..."oohh you caught that huh?" While me and the cast smile at each other because we pulled off hiding something REALLY big that oflks didn't notice.

Look at the third pic from the top, you can't SEE it, but the way we're holding that arrow in his head is ridiculous, but something more obvious, see what the girls are doing on the right, they're not even paying attention and probably had no idea we were rolling  That's why I always try to encourage people to listen to the commentaries on the DVD's. We have tons and tons of cool stories and stuff people would never notice unless we pointed it out!

Well you won't find HIghway 91 there yet, we're still filming it
