Re: campfire tale

I've been very busy, but will finish soon if anyone cares.

Allen and the girl  walked far enough no one noticed the sound of flesh being torn from his bones as she fed.
Shawn sat back at the fire staring at beautiful brown eyes, . "want to go for a walk?"  She was talking to him, it took a minute for her voice to register.

Re: campfire tale

Ignoring the chimp Shawn stood up and took her hand. They walked down to the water, he rambled trying to make conversation she just smiled as to ease his tension. When they were just out of reach of the rescinding tide she looked past Shawn to the glow of the fire, let's go this way she whispered.

She led him to a private spot between two dunes. He went to speak again and she shushed him with a kiss. He was a little worried someone might walk by but not enough to stop shedding their clothes as they dropped to the ground.

As he built towards orgasm it occurred to him he hadn't even thought about the condom in his wallet. Feeling it the only option he tried to pull out to finish. But she clamped down on him, her hands and thighs gripped him in an iron embrace. He went with it; she seemed to be building to climax too. He couldn't hold it any longer, releasing inside her. She began to quiver and moan, bending down she kissed him passionately. While still holding him and kissing him her quivering built until she climaxed as well spewing larva down his throat. Unable to breathe he swallowed the brood.

She let him go but he laid there paralyzed. She whispered in his ear “your body will begin to change and you will be able to move but you must get to the water or you will die"  a tear rolled down his face, she brushed his cheek softly "you should be happy you're a father now, come to the water and follow my call."  with that she backed into the darkness toward the water.

Shawn learned two things about mermaids that night: one, not all are born that way and two, like seahorse the males carry the young.

Later he would find out what they eat.

Re: campfire tale

whoa...mermaids.....

I really like that story Swollen

Re: campfire tale

Ok.. Im starting a story.  Swollen  feel free to jump in  (  but no monkey business Az !!! )

*****************************************

The smell of cotton candy and fried foods hit Laura as she stepped of the Ferris Wheel and she felt a little quesy. She wished she hadn't eaten that corn dog before getting on. She really need to sit down and maybe even go home, but   Laura didn't want to make her parents panic . They were too over protective enough,  this was the first year she was allowed to attend the carnival alone with her friends ( even though she was 17 and all her friends had been going alone for years ).
Her friend  Marcy  walked up to her  with a look of concern on her face . " You look a little green , Laura "
She tried to compose herself and smile. " I think I want to go check out that magic act we passed earlier "  Truth was, she just wanted to sit down and rest a bit.
Laura and Marcy walked over to the tent , it seemed the show had already started . She could hear music and the gasps of the crowd , followed by applause.
They paid an older man at the opening of the tent. He was bald , tall and thin. He wore a suit similar to a ringmaster's suit- but it seemed dirty and tattered . His eyes gleamed a little too much and his hands were dry and cold as he took her money.
"Go right in girls, enjoy the show "  he smiled. showing yellowed teeth and pulled back the tent opening for them.
They stepped in. . there was a magician on stage. He was just finishing a trick with fire and the smoke was still in the air.The tent was full of benches and they were halfway full. Marcy spotted a seat up front.and pulled Laura along with her.  The Magician wore a typical cheesy outfit - black suit , complete with hat and cape with red lining. Which he swirled around with flair as he performed his tricks.
As they sat down the magician was asking for a volunteer. His asistant was pushing out a box with a saw in her hand.  Marcy started to raise her hand but Laura clamped down on her arm. Preventing her from raising it. " Laura what are you doing ? let me go !  "
Laura shook her head and said sorry . Marcy seemed annoyed but quickly got over it..
The magician had found his volunteer.  Tammy Jenkins , The head cheerleader at school . She smiled and waved to her boyfriend as she bounced up on stage.
The Magician lead her to the box ("coffin" was what Laura kept thinking in her head )  Tammy got in with a nervous giggle. Her hand and feet proturded from holes in the box. Tammy wiggled her feet and waved with her fingers..The Magician announced to  the crowd that he was going to cut her in half.  Tammy's eyes widened and she nervously giggled again.
He took the saw and began to saw the box.  Tammy seemed genuinely nervous.  As he sawed further Tammy began to scream and twitch in the box..  The crowd gasped.
Blood started to bubble out of Tammy's lips. Marcy screamed . Laura felt the world slip and slide . The crowd was screaming and shouting.
The magician continued to saw through the box (" Coffin"? )  blood poured out and so did Tammy's entrails.
Laura passed out.
When she awoke Marcy was holding her hand and looking into her face. "Laura ! are you okay ? "
Laura sat up . Panicked she looked at the stage. Tammy was standing next to the magician . Perfectly fine , despite the look of annoyance on her face.  The crowd was also staring at her.
" Im ok. " Laura whispered to Marcy  " I think the Ferris wheel and the junk food got to me . Thats all "

Re: campfire tale

The Magician requested a round of applause for Tammy and sent her back to her seat.  Taking a bow with vaudevillian flair "The Magnificent Crowley thanks you all for coming"  and with an inflection Laura found sinister "please come back again. I promise to astonish you and promise you will never see the same show twice!"

While everyone else left the tent quickly in pursuit of the next attraction, Laura took a minute to gather herself. Before she and Marcy could stand the magician had appeared in front of her. "Ladies I hope you enjoyed the show."  "Oh, we did very much"  Marcy responded. His eyes transfixed on Laura "My dear you seem a bit melancholy. I think I have just the thing."  With a flick of the wrist a card appeared in his gloved hand. Laura tried not to look at him or the card, she felt very uncomfortable "It's just a sour stomach I'll be fine."  She explained.  Extending the card out to her with his fingers "This is an invitation  to a very special show please take it. I promise an experience you'll never forget"  Said the magician seeming not to notice Laura's distress.  "Cool!"  Marcy blurted grabbing the card before Laura could refuse "we'll be there"

Re: campfire tale

A few days later after that strange meeting with The Magician, Tammy talked Laura into going to this special show.

On their way to the show they decided to go into the back alley for a few tokes. Just as Laura exhaled a huge figure was upon them before they knew.

The next day their decapitated bodies, with ripped off panties were found but the heads were no where to be seen.

why was Tammy hanging out with Laura and what happened to Marcy?

Re: campfire tale

ahem, we will pretend that DTS addition was just a horrible dream , shall we ??

********************************************************************************

As they walked the midway, Marcy babbled on and on about the invitation while Laura tried to comprehend what had happened ..
Was she the only one who saw all the blood ? Did she dream what happened to Tammy ?  was it part of the illusion ? and why so bloody and horrible ?
"This invitation is for tomorrow night at Midnight . Why don't you spend the night at my place tomorrow and we will sneak out ?" Marcy suggested  Laura reluctantly agreed.  somehow she knew she would regret it.
The next morning at school there was some sort of commotion going on,.Students were crying and the principal was announcing something to the students. Marcy rushed up to her , tears in her eyes. " Did you hear ? Tammy is dead ! she was in a horrible car accident last night ! "  Laura felt sick to her stomach. she couldnt help but think of the magic trick the night before.
As they passed some of the students she could overhear them whispering. " I heard it was a terrible crash..... she was torn in half..... "
Laura felt all the blood drain from her face,

Re: campfire tale

Laura doing her best to maintain composure told Marcy she needed to get to class and would see her tonight. She rushed off as Marcy replied a befuddled "ok, see ya tonight."

All through her last period Laura tried to think of a way out of going to the show. She knew her parents would think it weird if she didn't go to Marcy's. Marcy was the only friend they allowed her to sleep over with and they didn't allow it all that much. She also knew she couldn't tell Marcy no, especially when Marcy had it in her head they were going to do something. Feeling she didn't have a choice "Fine"  she told herself she'll go, maybe it was all in her head maybe it will be fun.

After class she lingered a bit before leaving. The early September air was still warm but she could feel the fall creeping in. as she passed the bleachers she noticed the late afternoon sun was casting long shadows giving everything a forbidding feeling. Laura took her short cut across the PE field, mid way a breeze stopped her in her tracks. She swore she heard someone whisper her name.

Re: campfire tale

It came from the bleachers. The sun was setting and the shadows became larger and darker..  She could swear she could see something moving under the bleachers... the wind blew her hair in her face.. as she brushed her hair away she was sure that she saw someone crouched there.
" Laaaaura .... "  it was almost a hiss.   " Laaaaaura "

Laura took a step backward and bumped into something. or someone

Re: campfire tale

It felt like a person and knocked her to the ground but when she looked up no one was there. Feeling spooked she jumped to her feet and looked to the bleachers. Out in the sun a few feet in front of where she had seen the crouching figure stood a shabby black mutt with black eyes. It stared at her before sprinting the opposite direction and disappearing from view. Laura ran the rest of the way home.

Re: campfire tale

Laura ate dinner quietly barely nodding when her parents asked her how school was . She knew they were concerned about the accident the night before , so she decided to talk about how excited she was about going to Marcy's house that night and  excused herself to began packing her overnight bag.
As she she stood in her room she noticed movement outside on the street below. She went to the window and noticed an older woman walking her dog. The woman looked up at her and Laura saw she had one milky eye.  She waved up at Laura and her hand seemed odd somehow. " scaly " was the word to came to Laura's mind. like a talon instead of a hand. But it couldnt be. Her mind must be playing tricks on her again. Tjhe old woman called out to her dog. The dog was busy pulling something from a bush and the old woman turned to pull the dog away. The mangy little dog came from underneath the bush with a rat in its jaws. Laura cringed as the dog ripped a piece of meat from the rat and began to eat. Laura gasped as the old woman picked up the rat and put it in her handbag.   She stepped away from the window and could still see outside from behind the curtain. The old woman looked up at her window once again as she shuffled away.

Re: campfire tale

The phone rang and it startled Laura out of her daze.  It was Marcy saying she would be picking her up in 10 minutes. Laura quickly gathered her things and walked out to her porch.  The wind was blowing strong and the air was cool. She was glad she was wearing her sweater. She heard leaves rustling against the porch,  Or was it scratching ?? the sound returned.. It was coming from under the porch. Laura stepped off the porch and went over to the side of the house.  She crouched down on all fours and looked under the porch . It was dark and she couldn't see anything.  Then she heard a growling sound and Red glowing eyes.  Laura fell back hard. She looked back under the porch. The red glowing eyes were moving towards her !!  Laura screamed  and Marcy pulled into her driveway right next to her.   She looked back and the eyes were gone. Laura jumped into Marcy's car as fast as she could.

Re: campfire tale

It wasn't a dream it really happened that night sad

Re: campfire tale

Oblivious to Laura's noticeably frazzled state Marcy began to rant about how excited she was about the "Special show". Laura just stayed quiet murmuring in agreement when Marcy would briefly pause between sentences. Laura played with the radio and glove department. She fidgeted partly to keep from thinking about the show and partly to keep from looking out the windows, she began to be very afraid of what she may see out in the night.

At Marcy's house they hung out in her room. Marcy was able to tease a few smiles out of Laura, reminding her why they were friends. The mood actually started to lighten up for Laura until Marcy mentioned they should be getting ready to go. Sneaking out at Marcy's wasn't really that hard. Her parents gave off the good church going pretentiousness Laura's parents liked so much but they were always off somewhere entertaining clients or off to one of their time shares. They left Marcy alone to do what she may and “why not she's almost off to collage" she would always say.

On the way to Marcy's car they walked past several open wine bottles from one of her parent's dinner parties/presentations. Laura wanting anything to take away the dread she was feeling whispered to Marcy "hey, would they miss one of these?"  "Laura! Now that's my girl." Marcy replied as she slipped a bottle into her bag.

They both took a few long drags before starting the car and heading off to the old fair grounds.

Re: campfire tale

When they got there , they saw there were only a few people on the midway, and many of the rides had shut down .Yet the magician's tent was bright with all the lights strung out around it. A man who breathed fire was standing just outside the entrance. There were people gasping and applauding his act. Marcy and Laura walked over to the ticket taker and handed him their invitation. The man seemed a bit younger than before and his suit wasn't as tattered. Laura found that a bit odd, but the wine and her frazzled state earlier may have had something to do with it.

Re: campfire tale

The ticket taker gestured in a presenting way towards the tent's entrance. Inside they found the seating area and everything else just as they'd seen it last. The only exceptions were a couple new items on stage hidden under velvet cloths. One of which was very big and reminded Laura of the shape of her parents grandfather clock.

A young couple came in and sat at the far end of the same bench as Laura and Marcy. Behind them set two men who Laura noticed (to Marcy's giggly amusement) were holding hands. Finding the atmosphere to be less then imposing Laura whispered to Marcy a bit sarcastically "thought it would be more crowded." The wine had done a wonders to tone down her trepidation.

Suddenly in poof of white smoke the magician appeared on stage. Laura giggled “cheesy" she whispered. He seemed more vibrant more pressed and polished, Laura couldn't put a finger on it. "I want to thank you all very much for coming to this very special show tonight."  something about his voice bothered her just as last time. When he spoke the menace began to creep back into Laura. He addressed the audience “When you are a child you are told about sleight of hand, about illusion."  Going on as he pointed his cane in a sweeping motion at the small audience "but something deep in you dares to ask, maybe, just maybe there's more to it than mere illusion. That question about magic stays you with long after all the other illusions in life are lifted" Finishing his monologue with a devilish grin "tonight we answer that question!"

"All of the magic tonight requires a volunteer. This first bit is a nod to your childhood, who would like to be first?"  Marcy raised her hand with enthusiasm while Laura shrunk down trying to make it clear she had no interest.  "Well come on up my dear"  he said pointing at Marcy. He sat her in a chair in the middle of the stage with a small table just in front of it. Taking off his top hat he placed it in the middle of the table "let's see what we have here" he said while reaching into it. Upon retracting his arm the couples around Laura let out "ohhs"  and a "ah cute." But Laura felt sick at what she saw in the magician's hand: it looked prehistoric, a giant slime covered worm with a circular needle teeth filled mouth and rows of little griping appendages down each side. Laura blurted out "disgusting" She heard one of the guys behind her whisper "She must not like rabbits."

The Magician put the creature back into the hat then lifted it and turned the opening towards the audience for all to see it was empty. Following a small round of clapping, he then walked behind where Marcy was sitting and smiling with delight.  Reaching from behind her he put the hat on her head and then pulled down on both sides of the brim. Laura gasped and covered her mouth. The hat grew before everyone's eyes and slid down until it covered Marcy's head.  Laura watched in terror as Marcy legs and hands bounced and quivered, scratching and gurgle sounds came from the hat as blood darkened Marcy's blouse. Just before Laura could scream the Magician popped the hat off and there as if Laura hadn't been watching the same show sat a cheery blood stain free Marcy with an adorable white bunny perched on her head. The Magician took the rabbit and let Marcy pet it before putting it back in the hat and again showing the audience it had disappeared.

As the Magician took a bow, Marcy ran back to her seat smiling.

Re: campfire tale

Laura swallowed hard. She gripped Marcy's arm and asked in a loud whisper " weren't you afraid whe you saw that  thing ??... All that blood almost made me sick  "  Marcy shook off Laura's hand and asked if she was drunk .The guys behind them snickered. Laura wondered why everyone was so calm. Marcy was looking at her as if she was a little worried about her. She decided to stay quiet and focused on the stage.
The Magician once again was asking for a volunteer. His eyes found Laura's and she quickly averted her gaze to the floor.  She heard a woman a few rows down giggle and when she looked up a heavy set woman was advanc ing towards the stage.
The Magician was holding a set of cards. He asked the woman to chose a card. She did as told and displayed her card to the audience. Laura cold see from her seat that it wasn't an ordinary card. it had an image of the devil on it. The devil seemed real , Laura swore she could hear the devil laughing and the sounds of flames . Laura gasped as the card caught fire and the  woman screamed. Her hands were on fire , then her arms were ablaze.. Laura stood up with a look of horror on her face,. The magician laughed and said something about this being the first standing ovation of the night.  Laura blinked. The woman was stepping off the stage and unharmed.  Marcy gripped Laura's hand . She seemed upset and very embarassed. " Laura ! SIT DOWN !!  you are going to get us kicked out ! "

Re: campfire tale

The next portions of the show Laura averted her eyes from the stage, giving the obligatory applause when everyone else did.

Then she heard the magician say "a final act and a final volunteer!"  as he uncovered the thing she thought looked like a grandfather clock. Laura looked up to have her dread realized, everyone was looking at her and the thing he was uncovering was a iron maiden.

Re: campfire tale

The Magician opened the large spike filled metal box then turned to the audience with his gaze fixed on Laura. With a grin that made her ill he asked "Well dear, will you be my last assistant tonight?" "m sorry I'm not feeling well and really must go!" Laura replied while standing and tugging on Marcy's arm. Marcy pulled her arm back "Laura get up there, it'll be fun" Marcy said a bit irritated. The magician stomped the end of his cane against the floor startling Laura. She turned towards him as his gaze went from her to scanning the audience “could you all assist me one more time by helping this poor shy girl to the stage."  Laura turned back to plead to Marcy to leave. Marcy had stood up and was standing in front of Laura. Marcy's eyes and nose were gone, gnawed away. Her blouse was covered in blood and there was something moving under her skin eating her from the inside.

Laura screamed as the two scorched arms of the heavy set woman locked around her. As the burnt corpse carried Laura to the stage she looked back to see each audience member was now a horrific sight. The burnt woman flung Laura around, the end of a spike protruding from the blackness was the last thing she saw before being thrown into the box as the door slammed shut.

more !!!

Re: campfire tale

The late October sun painted the abandoned amusement park hues of oranges and yellows. John wiped his dusty hands on his blue jeans, then reached in his pocket and retrieved a smoke out of a crumpled pack. He lit it with a smirk while watching Rick un snag his shorts from the barbed wire and jump to the ground.

"Why did they close this place down again?" Rick asked still breathing heavy from jumping the fence. John replied "Well, back in the 70's there was a ride on the other end of the park called "Pirates cave," you road in a boat though a cave filled with robotic  pirates that jumped out at ya and played out scenes like sword fights and shit."

John paused looking at the setting sun then continued  "My dad said it was pretty lame but there was one figure everyone called captain blood at the end who was supposed to be really creepy, well anyway one night a full boat of eight people went in the ride but didn't come out."  John liked telling the story it made the town he grew up in feel interesting and since everyone from it new it he didn't get the chance very often.

"What happened to them?" Rick asked not really seeming that interested. "No one knows, they were all locals and their families still have a candle light vigil on the anniversary. After the incident between law suits and low attendance they had to close it."

"Let's go let Ryan and the girls in." John said while motioning Rick to follow him.

Mistress or anyone want to add
