Hey GW there's something i don't get. You're watching the draft tomorrow but you're gonna be missing Lake Placid 2 to watch the NBA playoffs. If you wanna know my take on that situation and about my feelings about the NBA playoffs, i got something for you to check out on the Lake Placid 2 topic discussion thread.

I really never got into Hockey or baseball, I do watch it from time to time especially the playoffs, I replied to the thread, I used to be bigtime NBA fan when the Bulls had there run Jordan by far is my favorite player heck he could play with Rodman too, Didn't they win 72 wins that year they had Kukoc as the 6th man?

We should have a sports forum here with all the fans here!

Y yes they did win 72 games in a row. And they ended up winning the championship that year.

NFL draft starts at noon I believe tomorrow so I will for sure keep an eye on it cause my Falcons have the 8th choice in it and if we pick someone who I think stinks then I am gonna get hammered drunk early tomorrow lol.

Landry Safety from LSU should be there at that spot and would be a great pick up for you also Jaamal Anderson is possible too.

I hope the Saints grab that TE from Miami if he is there

LOL I told you you guys The Birds would pick Jaamal if Landry wasn't there and Russell went 1!

Its so funny that Brady Quinn is still sitting on his butt waiting to be picked no doubt the Dolphins will grab him

Its weird that every draft the Lions seem to pick a WR in the 1st round every year.

Re: Nfl

WTF!!!!!   hahahahaaha Brady Quinn was suppose to go #1?   cool

Dolphins are stupid Quinn isn't as good as
Russell but he is a solid #9 pick and they may have Trent Green but they made a mistake not taking a QB .

Brady Quinn is so overrated......I can't stand that jackass.

WTF is up with the Falcons getting Anderson from Arkansas? Shit, I wanted Okoye from Louisville.

Re: Nfl

you can just see that LSU was one of the better teams in college football last year with both Rusell and Landry going in the top 6!

They were 10-6 last year and could have had a better record but didn't play there starters in the last game, so depending on the situation they could do the same thing and be 9-7 and then I would lose the bet, I won't bite on that but if you want to bet on who will have the better overall record Saints or Falcons I can do that.

Re: Nfl

Hey GW, I ended up going to the pub with some buddies last night so can you tell me who the Falcons all drafted yesterday and what time it starts up again today?

Re: Nfl

Yesterday was sweet ESPN had bonus coverage so the draft was on from 11-10 freaking 11 hours of football I missed the 3 round and took a nap but the rest of the draft will be on today from 11-6

Here is the vid on Robert Meachum WR the Saints picked up, if you thought our offense was dangerous wait to you see us now, I sort of wanted to go defense buy we did need a replacement for Joe Horn  Geaux Saints!!!!
BTW they showed that blocked punt in the Falcons game what a moment that was lol
They also took Usama Young with 66th Pick Overall he is a decent CB and we have plenty of draft picks today so we can add more depth.

Atlanta Falcons

The Falcons started by bulking up with DE Jamaal Anderson and OG Justin Blalock, then finished their day one Draft selections with a pair of burners in CB Chris Houston and WR Laurent Robinson

Here is a video of Houston I liked him a lot and was hoping Saints would grab him but I am cool with the WR pick.

I only think 4 so far all of them in the first round and most by school.

Here is a list of all the SEC players

LSU had a couple RBs that I thought would be drafted.

I don't think so, Troy Smith was taken by Ravens, that would be great if Saints could get Leak at #220 they need a solid back up but I don't think Leak can be a starter in the NFL
