Topic: Movie Night Suggestion Thread

I keep getting suggestions for Movie Night, so I'm going to post this thread so people with ideas (and only people that actually want to attend;  I've gotten some strange ones from some who never have attended) can post their ideas.

What we have scheduled (all times US Eastern):
June 25th, 2011-  '1970's Haunted House Night'  7PM (courtesy of Lon)
     'Legend of Hell House' and 'The Sentinel'
July 9th, 2011- 'Franchise Origins Night' 4PM (yes, it's early so he can stay for both) (courtesy of Wolfy)
     'Final Destination 1' and 'Resident Evil 1'
July 16th or 23rd- 'Linda Blair Night' 7PM (?) (courtesy of azzy)
     'Hell Night' and 'The Exorcist (the version you've never seen)'

Here are some ideas that have been suggested:

Re-Animator & The Beyond.
Bad Taste & Dead Alive.
Shaun of the Dead & Zombieland.
Vincent Price night- all kinds of combos.

Post you ideas here.  Have some type of theme, and 2 movies.  Feel free to list more than 2, because we always go overtime and watch more films.

And new people are always welcome!

Well, this thread is just all fired up. hmm  Since there is no Phils game tonight, I'll pop on Skype later on tonight to see if anyone has any ideas.

i iz best at the zombie stomp, but i voted for break dancing because i would probably break down. i am not a great dancer and i have to be really pissed to do it, i am very self concious but i must admit i do like the good old slow dance with a lovely lady so i can hide in her boobies because i am so shy wink
i want a hmca disco meeting but that can never happen but i can dream of having a slow dance with all the beautiful female members of this great and legendary forum. ( no that does not mean i would have a smooch with you Lon, or you Deady or you Az, just thought i would make that clear smile

Ideas I'm putting on top (for now) (much thanks to Lon for his ideas, even though I tinkered with some).

I like 'Double Cheeseburger'.  But I'm thinking "Attack of the Killer Shrews" and "Plan 9."

'Zilla has requested a Godzilla night (still waiting for suggestions, ahem).  Might just do a kaiju night so we could have another monster.

Save for Christmas time-
Mangle All the Way: Silent Night, Deadly Night and Black Christmas

I'm still thinking about a Saturday, October 29th 12Noon US Eastern to Sunday, Oct. 30th 12Noon marathon.  I could just set up a convo room with anyone that is interested, and you could come and go as you please (once you're in the convo, you automatically get back on when you come back).  It would be a set schedule of a movie every 2 hours.   Hell, we could start it Friday night and run in for 30 hours that way.  With a set schedule and movie list, people could show up for movies when they wanted to.  No way I could stay the entire time, so others would have to step in and make sure everyone is all (mostly) synced up.  Not sure if I could even record it all.  Think about it.

King Kong vs. Godzilla and Godzilla vs. Gigan.

I think that's a good idea too. I believe Az suggested Dead Alive and Bad Taste not long ago. So it's quite possible.

Or maybe a Japanese monster movie night, Godzilla Tokyo SOS, Gamera Gardian of the Universe which is a fun movie but hard to find
