Not contenders? Maybe so? I got a Q for ya, -Z-. What's your opinion on the Saints goal line call on the 1yd line with the game on the line? I personally thought it was lame calling the play up the middle. Were I coach, the play would have been a fake up the middle and the hand off to Sproles running to the right, or Brees faking the hand off up the middle and throwing to Sproles w/an option. I'm still a fan of Brees & Sproles being that they both played for the Bolts.

Whew, Penn State wins a squeaker over Temple(!). Their special team blow (3 missed FGs & 1 block punt), the offense could barely move, but at least the D was good (3 interceptions).

Sproles definitely should have taken it to the outside.

The only sports I'm interested in watching is baseball -- and thank God the season's almost over because I spent hours a day watching the Reds lose when I should have been writing.

It's final: SD loses BIG to NE 21-35. The 4 turn overs by SD were the difference in the game. Chargers are now 1-1 on the yr.
