Re: RIP Don Cornelius
Who the hell commits suicide at 75??? I mean, I know the guy's been out of the game for a while now and has had some health issues, but why not stick it out? He'd made it this far...
Not to speak ill of the dead, but that's pathetic. Sad, yes. But also pathetic. ![]()

Well hold on you don’t know what he was going thorough, the article was vague. Did you say the same for Hunter S ? I personally don’t want to wither in a hospital bed (have had may share due to childhood illness) Myself If I am lucky enough to get to that age and know I have a timeline started I want to take a walk into the woods.

Re: RIP Don Cornelius
I read up. Nothing specific was said aside from the fact that he had health issues and recently went through a divorce, but my point is, if you've made it all the way to 75, you may as well hang in there for the remainder. If he was slowly, painfully dying of cancer then maybe I'd understand. I wouldn't agree or condone, but I'd understand. Otherwise, yeah -- I think to just give up like that is pathetic.

Oh wow...Don Cornelius! That's a blast from the past... My friend and I used to watch Soul Train when we were kids...LOL
Re: RIP Don Cornelius
The list of bands and singers that have been on that show through the years is amazing.
Anyone that doesn’t have love needs to look up an old clip like Al Green live back in his prime, which will make the crackerty est cracker tap a foot.
Re: RIP Don Cornelius
Guess he's letting his "Soul Glo" up in soul train heaven now. RIP. I always liked the bands that came through on there.
