Glad to be of help, and I won't charge just as long as you don't charge for the wealth of knowledge that you bring to the site.  I love to hear the backstories of movies and what went into creating them.  I tend to look for newer independent and foreign stuff that catches my eye and love to come across that diamond in the rough.  But I also love to find the older stuff that I have missed over the years.  It is one of the things that I love most about this site, so many different people with different tastes and knowledge bases, there is always something new or old to check out.

Jan 4 - Sleepaway Camp II: Unhappy Campers (1988) Just bad.  1/5.

Jan 4 - The Possession (2012) - I really had no interest in seeing this one, but I am glad to say that I was pleasantly surprised by it.  A good story and characters that draw you in to their ordeal.  Well done.  4/5.

^^^ I liked The Possession, as well.  I think I gave it a 7/10.  A nicely old-school, slow-build type flick with some exceptional performances (I like Jeffrey Dean Morgan more and more with each movie he makes) and top-notch direction.

Here is what I watched this weekend...

The Devil Inside-  Just an ordinary found footage film for me.  I don't really like FF usually but this one was ok.  It shows some good Exorcism footage.

Damien, The Omen 2-  pretty good sequel to The Omen.  I was happy to see Lance Henriksen in it.  I will probably watch the third one this week too.

Jennifer's Body-  Yeah I watched it again...  I actually don't see why everyone hates this one so much,  It's not great but its not bad either.

Rites of Spring-  So here is one to put on the avoid it at all costs list.  Lots of screaming going on instead of dialog.  Nothing irritates me more than a movie with too much screaming!  That reminds me...avoid Area 407 as well for the same reason.

Lovely Molly-  I enjoyed it just as much on the second viewing.  Although the plot is a little confusing...Is it a movie about a girl slowly going insane or is it a movie about a girl being possessed by a demon?  they never really make it clear...

I'm a total fan of Jennifer's Body. Sits at the top of my best Horror comedies with Zombieland and Dance Of The Dead.

Been wanting so much to see Lovely Molly, heard very nice stuff anout it and the trailer amazes me.

Absolutely detested Devil Inside. Boring and badly done. But it's my own personal opinion that I share now with you, nothing else.

Piranha 3DD was quite enjoyable. Not only does it have K2000 and Malibu's Hasselhoff but also loads of boobs and blood which I always like.
Not as cool as the first though but still pretty cool to see. Glad it's now in my DVD collection. 8/10

It is funny how different opinions of films can be.  I didn't care much for Jennifer's Body at all and would actually rate Rites of Spring higher, in spite of the ending and some of the plot hoes in the story, I found it to be more entertaining.

Jan 5 - John dies in the End (2012) - Haven't read the book, so I don't know how it compares, but the movie was entertaining.  3.5/5.

I've had it on my external drive for over a year now but have yet to bite the bullet, mostly because I'm not at all a fan of Megan Fox.  I dig the title, though.  Apparently Diablo Cody is a fan of the band Hole.

Jan 7 - Not a horror movie per se, but I watched Seven Psychopaths the other night, and it is pretty damn bloody.

Jan 8 - The Shuttered Room (1967) - Funny the things that stick in your mind about movies.  I can remember watching a movie as a kid where a guy is surfing on a pallet towed behind a pickup truck full of his buddies, and when they round a corner too fast, the guy flies off the pallet straight into a barbed wire fence.  That is all that I remember of the movie, but that scene has always stuck with me.  Unfortunately,  for the longest time, I had no idea what movie it was.  So imagine my joy when I put this movie in last night and that scene plays out near the begining of the film.  It is a bit of a slow burn, but it is actually a decent flick.  3/5.  First watch.
