Re: summer movie challenge

Okay, I am waaaaayyy behind with updating my films now! Gonna try and get upto date

Movie 9
Nightmares In Red, White & Blue (Documentary) - First Watch
http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j310/Midnight-Angel19/NM.jpg

Very interesting documentary about American film making over the past 80-100 years or so. I found it to be full of interesting facts and I loved the interviews with legends of the genre, George Romero and Tom Savini being two I really enjoyed listening to.

I'd recommend this to anyone to watch, as it's just a great review and discussion of the genre we love so much, and it talks about some fantastic films and moments in horror

Re: summer movie challenge

July 2nd- Secretariat 5/10 its a good story but I'm not that into horses I loved that Nelsan Ellis from True Blood was in it

Re: summer movie challenge

^ That's like, the only King adaption I haven't seen. Ima have to give it a watch.

Re: summer movie challenge

I tried to watch Rose Red but gave up on it after three hours.  Sure it only had one hour left to go but I figured if it hadn't pulled me in after 180 minutes, then the last 60 weren't gonna do shit. lol

I've tried a few new flicks so far this summer -- stuff like The Sleeper, Rabies, The Dead and a few others.  Despite their strong word of mouth, I've found most of them lacking.  Cabin in the Woods  is still the best genre flick I've seen so far this year.

Re: summer movie challenge

^^ I dont know what it is about Rose Red that I love i just do lol.

I agree i cant wait for Cabin to come out on dvd I have 2 best friends I want to watch it with who if I know my friends should love it just as much as I did and do lol

OH and welcome back love!

Grazie.  That's Italian for "domo arigato," which in turn is Japanese for "gracias." big_smile
