Topic: Wicked City (1987)

Awesome, sexy, violent and sleek animated supernatural horror fantasy from Yoshiaka Kawajari of Ninja Scroll fame and one of my favorite animated movies since i rented it on video when i was 14 as it blew me away with it's storytelling, animation, imagination and unique creatures as it's a very Cronenberg/Lovecraft/Carpenter inspired movie.

I've seen both this and the live-action Hong Kong adaptation from '92 or so.  Both are pretty trippy with some bizarre, hallucinatory imagery.  I suppose I'm overdue for a re-watch...

Sounds interesting. It's hard to find good horror anime. One I liked was called Pet Shop of Horrors.
