I don't know what's funnier, Ghostie thinking he can get a rise out of me calling 28 Days Later a zombie movie, or the fact that Punk mistyped "Night of the LOVING Dead" not once, but twice.
My top zombie flick list:
Night of the Living Dead '68
Dawn of the Dead (original is the best IMO but the remake is good, too)
Day of the Dead '85 (the remake was HORRIBLE)
Land of the Dead -- the only Romero Dead flick I ever saw in a cinema. I was way too young to catch catch Dawn or Day in the cinema (I was 7 and 13 during their respective releases) and hadn't yet been born when Night came out
Gates of Hell/City of the Living Dead
Dead Next Door
The Walking Dead, especially season 2
I could probably rattle off a couple dozen more but off-hand I can't think of any others I'd consider among the "best" of the sub-genre.
