That's truly sad, Renee. 
It really sucks when something like that happens...especially right around a holiday when people are generally to used being around each other's company and being happy. Best of luck to your friend. I hope he makes it through.

Just received The Omen by David Seltzer. Kinda disappointed with the dirty-rubber-ish things that makes me think of chewing-gum on the cover of the book. Not really disappointed with the cover considering that it has a cute Damien in the foreground. It's weird that they marketed this as a movie tie-in novel considering that the only writer of wrote it and that it was only published fro 1978 to 1980.
