Topic: You Favorite Scene from any mainstream movie
What is your favorite scene from any movie? And why do you like it? My personal favorite is Edward Norton's "Fuck You" monologue from 25th hour. Something about that scene just gives me the chills. so many to choose from but up there is the scene in Big Fish when Krudup's charter starts telling his father the story of him (son) carrying his father to the river to die. the son finally understanding his fathers personality and reason for his story telling ways gets me every time. the wife and i are both a crying mess by the time that movie ends. i have liked every Burton film ive seen but imo this is Burton at his best.

I love the ending to Smokin Aces when Ryan Rynolds is in the hospital Room with Buddy and his father (I hope I didnt ruin the ending) and he unplugs the life support. That ending was sweet

The last scene in Jorge Grau's "The Dead At Manchester Morgue (Let sleeping corpses lie)", poetic justice but very sad, the death of the inspector (Arthur Kennedy) by hands of now undead George. A show of disbelief from the inspector who at the last moment denies and accepts in impotent disbelief and fright, the actual truth about the zombie outbreak. He is killed at the hands of George, whom he had blamed for the killings. A wonderful critique of the generational gap of the beatnick era, and the shortcomings of intolerance, also a very poignant and acute jab at the irresponsable industrial applications of science.

Oh come on Mike. Hell yeah i am. I play hockey and been playing hockey my entire life and Slap Shot being one of my all time favorite and how can you not be a fan of The Hanson Brothers. And BTW: Those pansy ass band you're thinking of has nothing on the REAL Hanson Brothers, which is what i posted. But very very funny. HAHAHA

glad you can read between the lines, to tell ya the truth I don't know who the hansons brothers are I thought you meant the mmbop ones if it wasn't for that vid  You learn something eveyday.

OH GOD NO! Whenever i heard that damn song i turned it off right away. I never listened to them in the day of my life. If you watch the movie Slap Shot, you will literally be laughing your ass off from start to finish and i gotta say it but it's alot better than Strange Brew and plus Slap Shot came out in 1977 and starred Paul Newman.

The Hansons in Slapshot were awesome. I love the scene in Slapshot when they had to go to a fashion show and dress up and then this one guy says: "I looking like some cock sucking faggot in this" "I gonna open this robe and wiggle my dick at them and all of them will be running except for my wife......I hope you have a heart attack and die you cheap bastard"

The best scene for me, in any non-horror film, is the scene between Dennis Hopper and Christopher Walken in True Romance. The moment when Dennis Hopper recognizes his fate and asks for the cigarette and the ensuing monologue is absolutely incredible.
