Out of everything that is out there. There is only one that is my true favorite scene and it's not from a movie at all. Well they did make a movie based on it. It was the one specific game that was the biggest upset in sports history. It was back on Feb. of 1980. When at the time, a couple of americans were held hostage and the time for america wasn't doing that good. They barely had any money and was going through rough times with the war breaking out and gas prices soaring due to shortage of oil. But there was only one defying moment that year and day that forgot just for a while what was going on in the world and what was happening to us. It wasn't baseball, basketball, or football. It was ice hockey. For most of you here at HM doesn't like the sport and think it's boring and doesn't appreciate the sport at all. I'm telling you this one single game, made sports history and simply goes down as one of the biggest upsets in sports history.
The 1980 Winter Olympics: United States VS Soviet Union
The US was the biggest underdogs b/c they were all made up of unknown college students and they either played together or hated each other. Where the Soviets were made up of actual soldiers in the army and they have rarely lost at all. The video below is part of the actual game that was televised on TV. And this game and events was made into a movie called Miracle that stars Kurt Russel.
