Labor Day Plans:
For those of you young enough to still be in school just a note: try not to get into a profession that never closes/stops. I work Holidays and Weekends and it blows. Find yourself a nice 9-5 weekday job that gives you holidays off. You'll be much happier that way
Which is why I no longer work in the film industry. When production demands 24-36 hour shifts, you're spending weeks away from your family, and after all is said and done you STILL don't get your name in the damn credits... It ain't worth it.
If I'm writing, directing, or IN the movie, it's a whole different thing.
As it is, I have client projects due soon, so I'll be working, but on here AND drinking beer.
It's good to be freelance, sometimes.
