Topic: Suicide Club

I just got done watching the movie Suicide Club and I thoroughly enjoyed it.  I was just wondering about the end.  It didn't quite make sense to me.  Did they stopt the suicides or did it mean that the suicides could possibly continue when that girl boarded the train.
I enjoyed the movie but that confused me.  Could anyone help me out?

Re: Suicide Club

No one knows for sure.. Its something the director kind of left up to the viewer to inteperet for themselves.. I wasn't really a fan of the overall movie.. It was just too weird for me..

Re: Suicide Club

Thanks for the reply on that one Goon.  When I think about it, I could almost see a continuing of events because  I never felt that they effectively solved the case.  Thanks again for the input.

Re: Suicide Club

If you liked that movie I'm sure you wil be pleased to hear that a prequel is on the way, Noriko's Dinner Table.. Heres a link to check out the trailer..

Re: Suicide Club

I have yet to see it and have heard mixed reviews. Honestly is it worth watching?

Re: Suicide Club

Hmm well I wouldn't reccomend it.. But its worth renting I guess.. There are some pretty bad ass scenes in the movie its just that the idea and concept of the movie are so weird it kind of ruined it for me..

I overall enjoyed the movie and thought it was interesting.  If you don't want to worry about buying it, someone posted the whole movie (divided into parts of course) on Youtube.  Here is the first part.

You can find the rest of the movie on there as well.  I think the person split it into ten or eleven parts.

Re: Suicide Club

i have netflix so I can get it anytime, I just didn't know if I should spen the time watching it. I think I will check it out

Re: Suicide Club

I may check it out for the cool death scenes, but if it doesn't have a solid plot I'm not going to pay too much attention to anything else.

Re: Suicide Club

Well I watched Suicide Club last night and enjoyed the first 45 minutes of it and then it became confusing as hell.

ATTENTION SPOILERS:

Can anyone explain to me wtf went on????? Okay first off you have the girl named Bat who seems to be the source of the net suicides but then you have some blonde headed fruitcake named Genesis, then you have these little kids calling the police and then clapping and asking the girl questions on the stage at the end, and that stupid girl band named Dessart??????

It was too damn confusing to me. Can anyone explain to me why people were killing themselves and who was actually making them do it?

Re: Suicide Club

Basically with the girl band, they were the ones who manipulated the people whoever listened to their music. The reason for that is there would be hidden messages within each of their songs. There's a connection between the girl band and the dots and the cult, known as Suicide Club. If you remember at the end, the one girl cracked one of the songs which there was a number. It all ties in with everything and with all the kids clapping at the end, all those kids were actually in the cult and that one girl was i think the last to join.

Re: Suicide Club

That Genesis guy was a total fruitcake. I hated it when he was killing those dogs in the white bags.

The first girl who lands on the tracks in the beginning and gets her head crushed was pretty cool lol.

Re: Suicide Club

Genesis reminds me and looks like Chris Cocker. LOL. All the death and torture scenes with in the movie are the main reasons why i love the movie so much. How sick and twisted the movie is. Simply the best.

Re: Suicide Club

Simply a brilliant Asian Horror movie that messes with your mind.  That's why I love Asian Horror.

Re: Suicide Club

this was a pretty kickass movie, with some great gore

Hey Edogg, just don't put up a pic on here of that fruitloop Genesis.......he,she, whatever it is like Chris Cocker.

Re: Suicide Club

This flick started out fantastically, really drew me in, shocked me, made me want to keep on watching.  Then out of nowhere comes the blond dude and the bags and the bowling alley (I think it was a bowling alley, having a hard time remembering) and it totally lost me.

I'd file this one under "Good Idea Handled Badly."  Starts off great, but eventually trips over itself.

Same here. I liked it until that point as well as the little kids phone calls start up and all that crap. Yeah, it was a bowling alley.

One thing that grossed me out was after the cop(lead actor from Audition) kids kill themselves and then get gets a phone call from one of those children.......(well I was eating some cheese dip with nachos while watching it) and then I look up to see snot drooling outta the actors nose while he's on the phone. I couldn't eat anymore after seeing that.

Here is the best way I can describe that character:

He is John Mark Karr.

He isn't actually responsible for the Suicide Club (he didn't actually kill JonBenet Ramsey) but he is a creep who wants to take credit for it.  He is an evil person because he did kill people (child porn charges) but all he would really wanted was to become famous and take credit for starting the Club (take credit for the murder.)

It could have actually been left out of the movie, but it was such a great scene and made things even more interesting.  At least for me.
