Well supposedly he's an "executive producer" but if you ask me I think that its another one of those "Wes Craven presents" things somewhat like in Dracula 2000.

I think its more along the lines of Dracula 2000 and the Project Greenlight folks wanting his input as he is considered *wrongly imo* as the master horror director the US has.
Craven is a master don't get me wrong, but we got quiet a few Masters but I think only TCM with Tobe Hooper is most widly known or John Carpenter with Halloween.

this flick has renewed my faith in the horror movies these days. ive watched it 3x's now and have no plans on stopping.
