Topic: INK TIP: Script Wanted

I get notices occasionally from InkTip where they provide one or two script leads and thought I'd share them here with other screenwriters who might have something along the lines of what the advertising studio/prodco/filmmaker is looking for.  I'll post the info here whenever they're looking for something horror related.

BEFORE YOU SUBMIT YOUR SCRIPT -- be sure to follow InkTip's instructions or your script won't be considered.  Check out their website at www.inktip.com

Good luck.

Same here.  They keep getting calls for the kinds of scripts I don't write, that's why I post the notices here.  Surely someone out there writes this kind of stuff.
lol

Now what could you possibly mean by that?  That hasn't been done before.  wink
Can we talk about our own mutilations and body collections?  Then they could sell it as a documentary and it might be respectable.

But as to the serious topic, don't know of any of these floating around...and I certainly don't have any.  But I have to wonder why they would be interested in something so overdone.  Why not some originality?

Re: INK TIP: Script Wanted

Write the script you want to write.  Don't put a structure on it.

That's my whole philosophy.  wink

New script lead for those interested:

We are looking for completed feature-length smart action/adventure/sci-fi scripts (i.e. something in the vein of "The Professional").

WGA and non-WGA writers may submit. Budget is open at this point in time, although we are looking for 1) one big budget project and 2) one small, gritty, edgy, small-budget project. So, when submitting, inside the personal message, please state under which catagory your script will fall.

We have a two-picture deal with MGM, and our credits include "To Live and Die" (MGM), "The Living Hell (Dark Lot), "Buried Alive" (Dark Lot), "Undead or Alive: A Zombedy" (Dark Lot), "Even Money" (Yari Film Group), and "Hellraiser: Deader" (Dimension video), as well as a number of other features in various stages of development and preproduction.

Re: INK TIP: Script Wanted

I may just be completely morbid and need some serious psychological(sp.) help, but I actually started a script that had mutilation (think Dexter) and something along the lines of collection of bodies or should I say body parts.

Sounds really strange and morbid, but I thought of the idea when Romero had that contest for Diary of the Dead. Thought of this story and started the script before the rules were posted. I can be morbid at times, but who can't???

Re: INK TIP: Script Wanted

We are looking for completed feature-length scripts that take place in a rural setting. Submissions can be in any genre, as long as the story takes place on a farm, in the boondocks, small town or any other non-big city environment. We are specifically looking for something that could be shot in Iowa. Please do not submit something we've already seen and reviewed.

WGA and non-WGA writers may submit. Budget will not exceed $1 million.

Tomfilm - Horror Icons, Europe Setting
---------------

We are looking for completed feature-length low-budget horror scripts with a single menacing antagonist that are adaptable to Europe (or even better, Germany).
