Topic: Black Belly of the Tarantula(1971)

Well I just got finished watching this 1971 giallo called The Black Belly of the Taranntula and overall I enjoyed it. It sorta reminded me of Argento's the Bird with the Crystal Plummage. It definitely had a Argento feel to it in some scenes but the film was directed by Paolo Cavara.

I have the uncut 98 minute dvd of it from Blue Underground. I just made a review for it on MMS so check it out sometime.

Yeah, I think it's a solid giallo, up there with the better ones. I've seen a lot of them too.

Glad you liked it.... I'm still looking forward to purchasing and watching it.

The film has like 7 deaths in it if I remember correctly. I would rate it higher if the deaths were gorier and I didn't see the end coming with who the killer turned out to be. It kinda surprised me who it turned out to be.
