Topic: What's your favorite Masters of Horror episode?

Out of all the Masters of Horror episodes you have seen, what is your favorite episode if you just HAD to choose?  My favorite is still...

Sick Girl by Lucky Mckee

Re: What's your favorite Masters of Horror episode?

Gah....hmmm....overall...hmm..

Homecoming by Joe Dante

Runner ups: Cigarette Burns by John Carpenter and Imprint by Takashi Miike

Re: What's your favorite Masters of Horror episode?

Hmm its really to close for me to call between Cigarette Burns and Imprint..

Re: What's your favorite Masters of Horror episode?

Use to be Jenifer until I saw Imprint

Re: What's your favorite Masters of Horror episode?

Imprint for sure. It's too bad most of the other entries wern't up to the same quality of horror that Miike achieved in this film.

Re: What's your favorite Masters of Horror episode?

Its now a contest between Dance of the Dead and Imprint.

Re: What's your favorite Masters of Horror episode?

Re: What's your favorite Masters of Horror episode?

It would have to be "Incident On and Off a Mountain Road".  Everybody that I have lent my Season 1 set to has all come back with the same one.

"Cigarette Burns" is an extremely close 2nd, though.

Oh, and I REALLY enjoyed the first half of "The V Word", but then I felt it became very cliche and weak in the 2nd half.

Re: What's your favorite Masters of Horror episode?

I can't wait for season 2 to hit DVD.  Then I might have a new favorite... slim, but just maybe.

Re: What's your favorite Masters of Horror episode?

V word

Re: What's your favorite Masters of Horror episode?

The Black Cat

tonight anyways...

Re: What's your favorite Masters of Horror episode?

Cigarette Burns.....I haven't been able to catch any of season 2 yet though.

Re: What's your favorite Masters of Horror episode?

By far one of my favorite things I've watched in the last year was Sick Girl, I think That Lucky McKee is one of the most promising new directors (Neil Marshall is another) that I think will do great things in the genre in years to come. A close second in the first season of MOH would be Cigarette Burns which I also thought was great. I've only seen a few in the second season but so far I really liked Family (gotta love George Wendt)

Re: What's your favorite Masters of Horror episode?

After all of season 1 and all of Season two spare The Damned Thing, The V Word & Family....can't say.  Love them all so much.  Though Dream Cruise is definatly at the bottom.

Re: What's your favorite Masters of Horror episode?

I can't say I loved them all cause I didn't....

Re: What's your favorite Masters of Horror episode?

Yes, two more "votes" for "Sick Girl".  Lucky Mckee is a great filmmaker.

Re: What's your favorite Masters of Horror episode?

Hope he does more after Sick Girl.  The Woods was a good flick imo.

Re: What's your favorite Masters of Horror episode?

Pick me up and The Washingtonians

Re: What's your favorite Masters of Horror episode?

Now I think "Right to Die" could be my favorite after watching it again.

Re: What's your favorite Masters of Horror episode?

Hopefully "Roman" doesn't open up his mind to the world of acting.  No disregard to his acting, but, I think he should stay behind the camera.

Re: What's your favorite Masters of Horror episode?

After watching all of season 2 spare for V WORD, DAMNED THING & FAMILY...my favs from it are:

Pro-Life: John Carpenter
Sounds Like: Brad Anderson
Right To Die: Rob Schmidt
The Black Cat: Stuart Gordon

Re: What's your favorite Masters of Horror episode?

Yeah, The Black Cat... I thought that was an amazing episode
