age does matter as a factor along with other factors in the way one interpretates a film....i am new here and was just trying to make sure i am not chatting with people too many generations away from me...no offense meant! happy birthday to the festive!!

I don't really get your point. Too many generations older or younger than you? If you mean younger than you, I figure you must be at least 70 or so and if you are whats wrong with listening to younger people and their views on horror movies?
Everyone has their own thoughts and interpretations of films no matter what their age.
