Topic: Music is my life!, What kind of music do you like?

Ok so most of us (Thats been hanging around the site long enough) knows a little bit about what our taste is in horror movies & such, Now lets get to know each other a little bit more, Face it everybody likes music unless your deaf, So don't be shy what kind do you like?, As for myself im not real picky as long as i can relate to the lyrics. Oh man - I could write a list a mile long! I listen to everything except country.

My first preference would be progressive rock- King Crimson, Jethro Tull, Yes, Rush, Emerson Lake & Palmer.

I also love classic rock - Led Zeppelin, Blue Oyster Cult, The Doors, Queen, AC/DC, early Aerosmith.

Too many to mention - you guys get the idea! LOL

Been playing guitar since I was a wee six years old, played bass since I was eleven, picked up drumming when I was thirteen, and worked with synthesizers and such for about...seven odd years now. Time flies don't it? So my life was based around music all those years ago.

Man thats a long list.. I don't actually listen to much music like specifically.. If I hear something that catches my ear I'll check it out.. I saw that morpheus mentioned Jethro Tull, great band.. I really love thier album Aqualung.. Great stuff..

Have you checked out the Finnish band LORDI??? Its like KISS but for us crazy folk..lol the makeup is awesome, they have been around awhile and the 3 videos that I have seen VERY well done and enjoyable..bringing good ole FUN back into rock n roll MUHAHAHAHAHA. they have a website

I always end up going back to the Afghan Whigs or Nick Cave, though I could list a few dozen bands that really make life worthwhile for me.

For anyone not into Nick Cave, just check this poetic shit:

I love it when someone writes something so good that it makes me jealous.  I think most horror fans would especially dig his "Murder Ballads" record...it's evil and incredible.

I love good drum solos and that kid can sure pound the skins. Pretty amazing for a fuckin 12 year old kid.
My fav drummer is Don Brewer. TiM you must know who he is or heard of him I'm sure

Yeah, Don Brewer is an amazing drummer.  Easily one of the bests.  He performed with a lot of groups.
