Topic: Rawhead Rex Remake...

On our (Any movies that NEED a remake? thread) ( http://www.horror-movies.ca/Forum/viewtopic.php?id=224 ) Goon & i where talking that if any movie needed to be remade it would be Rawhead Rex, While that was brought to my mind i decided to look up some info and see if anyone has had that in mind, Well turns out that sometime ago Moviesonline posted some news (Clive Barker to Remake Rawhead Rex) ( http://www.moviesonline.ca/movienews_1269.html ) i don't know just how old this bit of news is, But it just might happen whats your thoughts on a Rawhead Rex Remake?

Man this movie would be so bad ass. To anyone who has not read the short story you need to pick up Clive Barkers Books of Blood. There are a ton of brutal things in the story that would never make into theatres.

If they do remake the movie I hope they go all the way and than at least release the full unrated DVD.

Yes, this is indeed a great candidate for a remake especially if they stick more to the story.

Yea this would be one wicked tale.. I'm telling you if you have never read the original tale you need to. One of the most macabre stories I have read..

I saw the original movie (many years and I can't remember too much about it) at my father's advice.  But then again his favorite movie was "Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers".

A remake couldn't hurt and could be a good thing. I didn't like the original much.
Be nice if Barker got heavily involved in it.
