Topic: Jigoku 1960

I bought this movie for my wife never really seeing it for myself either and we watched this movie last night and I had heard good things about it and I must say it certainly was ahead of its time thats for sure in the gore factor, it sort of reminded me of Audition as far as the ending is concerned it sort of went from a drama in the begining and then took a swift turn into horror at the ending.

Good flick for its time.

If you liked the old Jigoku , you might want to try the 1999 version as well. Cheapskate gore effects but still rather kind of interesting ...

for 1960 i think this movie was ahead of it's time.  it was quiet interesting to see a Buddhist's interpretaion of Hell.  if you haven't seen this one yet you really should check it out.
