Same kinda snag hit Barbarella, Rodriquez was unwilling to go to Germany for a year and a half so he dropped from the film.

I hope that Verbinski stays attached, he's a good director so I think he would do a good job.  Though if he leaves, spot is vacant tongue

I just hope if he drops off that they find a decent replacement for a movie with such a big production

Thats a bummer, its such a great concept for a film and Gore is a great director...oh well...
