this book was great but it left a part hanging...:(

Re: What are you reading?

Okay I stink at trying to upload pics...Sorry:(  I am abou to read Lisey's Story by The King himself.  I just read Flesh and Bone by Jefferson Bass A Body Farm Novel.  It's forensics at it's finest.  And before that I read Hannibal Rising before I saw the movie.  I am also reading Culture Warrior by Bill O'Riley because I try to read a nonfiction every once in a while.  Anybody read Bentley Little?

Re: What are you reading?

What a great question!  I went to New Orleans last weekend and my cuz bought me "The Green Mile" thats what I am reading now. And when I am done with that I will read Frank Miller's Graphic Novel "300"

Re: What are you reading?

Steve Niles has my number this week. Re-reading his graphic novel adaptation of Matheson's "I Am Legend" (with Elman Brown), his Rob Zombie/Richard Corben version of "Bigfoot" and the comic book classic in waiting; "Pieces for Mom: A Tale of the Undead" (amazing artwork by Andrew Ritchie).

The new "Wormwood - Gentleman Corpse" by Ben Templesmith is also on the table as is 300, like every other Miller fan on the planet.

Non horror but still in the same B-league is Russ Meyers bio, "Big Bosoms and Square Jaws: Russ Meyer, King of the Sex Film"

I'm reading this right now for the first time.. I'm on about page 110 I think.. I just finished up Cell a couple weeks back. It was OK not really what I expected and it ended rather abruptly. I hope Roth takes it in another direction.. Next up is Mary Shelleys Frankenstein.. Want to catch up on the classics..

BTW UrbanCannibal you can talk about Russ Meyer whereever you want on this forum. That man is fucking brilliant.. Love his flicks.

Re: What are you reading?

Re-Working my way thru The Sword of Truth series (by Terry Goodkind) while waiting for the last book, Phantom, to come out in paperback.  I highly recommend this great adult fantasy series!

Re: What are you reading?

Heh yea I'm waiting for World War Z to hit paperback.. I really want to read that one.. Looks really good..

Re: What are you reading?

I'm currently reading this:

Sorry, that's the largest pic I could find.
I've volumes 2 and 3 lined up on the shelf, ready to read next. 'The Case Of Charles Dexter Ward" has to be one of the best books/ novellas I've read.

Man, that's gorgeous! I used to ask for Lovecraft books at the school library when I was a wee lad and the Librarian always thought I was looking for books on how to please a woman.... obviously Cthulhu should've paid her a visit.

Re: What are you reading?

Heh thats great.. I actually haven't read any Lovecraft simply because people have told me that the English is rather old.. I would like to read Herbert West: Re-Animator though..

Hell yeah!

Re: What are you reading?

Now that I finally have time, I am going to finish reading F. Paul Wilson's The Keep.  For those of you who have not read it (though I am not done) it is really good so far.  It has amazing characters and great build up, which is reminiscent of H.P. Lovecraft.

Re: What are you reading?

Stephen King's "Cell" and just finished the "Marvel Zombies" graphic novel.

You'll enjoy reading Remains! Perhaps it’s not Niles' most elegant entry, but it’s still a lot of fun smile Would make a great Master of Horror episode.

Re: What are you reading?

Yea I read Remains when it first came out.. Not bad.. I dig the location and the way they survive.. I'd love to read his I Am Legend graphic novel at some point..

Another Bentley Little fan.  I had a hard time finding all his books.  I just found Death Instinct on a rare book site.  He is one sick f**k.

The Mailman
The Burning
Revelations
The Store

Re: What are you reading?

Try abebooks.com & powells.com I have had a lot of luck with these two sites.  You can also make a wish list and they will alert you by email when they find your book.  And they are not too expensive.
