Re: Airplane
hahaha that movies a killer... I have that too its crazy shit
Re: Airplane
I saw that in the theater too. It is still my all time favorite spoof film and easily one of the most quotable movies ever made. I love Peter Graves (I'm Peter Graves) and Leslie Nielson. To this day I can't fly without replaying the entire thing in my head and I still giggle every time I hear the white zone announcements at the airport. Sadly they just don't make them like that anymore. Think I'll watch it tonite even. Thanks for bringing it up, RIP.

Re: Airplane
I think Airplane 2 had the scene in the cockpit with Peter Graves and some kid walked in with a dog and he says something like: "You ever had a dog grab hold of your leg and go to town"

Re: Airplane
Yay I did watch it last night and it was fun. Thanks again for making me think of it, RIP. It had been way too long.
Re: Airplane
Airplane! is a superb comedy. I never tire of watching it and always find something I've missed on previous viewings, the same with the Naked Gun movies. Jim Abrahams and the Zucker brothers have made some great comedies. Top Secret was another good one as well. Airplane II: The Sequel wasn't as good as the original but it still had it's moments. One of my favourite gags went something like this: Lawyer (played by John Larch) asks the doctor (played by John Vernon) a question: Lawyer: "Can you give us an impression?" Doctor: "I'm sorry I don't do impressions, I'm a doctor".
Re: Airplane
I love Airplane! It never gets old, however many times you watch it. I agree with Maven that it's one of the most quotable movies ever made.

Re: Airplane
Man, as a kid I saw all of the disaster movies that they spoofed in the theater. Airport, Airport 79, Towering Inferno, Earthquake. The Airplane movies are even funnier if you saw all those great old 70's flicks.:D
Re: Airplane
Airplane is one of my all time favorites.
Re: Airplane
Never seen it fully, it parts but i never sat down and watch whole of the movie
Re: Airplane
I also love Airplane!, even though the sequel was funny...just not as funny as the first. William Shatner did steal the show though. Can you believe that this movie is almost 30 years old! My God! Even for as old as it is, the jokes still seem fresh and funny when you watch it today. Only a Mel Brooks comedy could top the performance given by Airplane! in my eyes.

Re: Airplane
One of my favorite things about the Airplane and Police Squad movies are the little sight gags that take place in the background, that you don't notice on first viewing, but you catch in later viewings.
Re: Airplane
I'm watching this again on HBO right now, it's still funny no matter how many times you've seen it.
Re: Airplane
Airplane is extremely uproarious comedy with some of the funniest shit ever said on film.A classic with many fine performances.

No,but the question is scaring me a little.............I do remember Midnight Express so.......I am scared a little right now.
Re: Airplane
An undisputed classic, every scene has something hysterical in it. Hands down one of the best comedies ever made.
